Reasoned Rants

Fairness, compassion, privacy and human rights
Finding out the facts before making a decision not after, data analysis.

My premises may be wrong, I have vast tracts of ignorance, but my general reasoning is sound. If someone shows me I am wrong I change my mind. There is too much poor reasoning published, and too many decisions made based on emotion instead of facts. Here is a balanced set of emotion and reasoning on the random, the irrelevant and a few points of principle.

About Me

My photo
Rufus
A self-motivated and achievement orientated individual with excellent business development and interpersonal skills. A proven record of strategic and tactical direction from initial concept through to profitability based on strong commercial awareness and technical expertise.

I have been involved in starting between 10 and 20 companies. One never made it to launch; the rest are either still going or have been bought and merged into other companies. Generally around one in ten companies survive so clearly a bit of strategic planning can make a difference.

The thing that makes me stand up and take notice is when someone says something is impossible. Many things I have done have been declared impossible beforehand, but usually all it takes is a different way of looking at the problem.

More career details can be found on LinkedIn or one of the sites linked off Naymz.

A list of my watchwords, in no particular order could be:
Integrity, Courage, Judgement, Experience, Endurance, Intelligence, Independence and Compassion
